Surprized comes to mind considering the Flyers went 0-5 against the Pens this season. But if Elliott finds a way to come back from last years playoff melt down and steals a series, I think i'd be happy for him.

Bag skate the team all offseason, preseason and every practice next year. Force them to embrace a championship work ethic and mentality.

They wanted to end the season early to go golfing. Make them regret that decision every time they hit the ice next year.

Enough whining, 2019 is time for winning!!

What leads you to believe this will happen?

What could Elliot stealing a series this year possible have to do with the multiple soft goals he let in last year. He is a good goaltender but there is no way he could have the confidence of the Flames after last years playoff meltdown.
I for one hope he does well because he gave us some great games last year/

I also hope that Gulutzan can find a job that he is good at, unfortunately that does not include coaching in the NHL. It will be nice next year to have the defense drive the play like they can rather than sit back and play a silly system.

This team has the opportunity for a little youth retool. With Stajan gone and possibility of Brouwer buyout and Brodie gone. You could add FOO/Dube/Andersson/Mange and this would give you a youth movement.

Odds are Brouwer doesnt go so this probably wont happen.
